I don't install from untrusted sources and I keep stuff I don't use for a month or two off the device.

In my case the best security app is me.

Follow three simple steps, and no security app will be needed on android:

1. Read before you click "okay".
2. Use play store to download apps.
3. Don't claim the million dollars you just won.

For me its Complete Security,i have been using it since last one and half year and i had installed it on my Sony Xperia S.Till now i had not faced any problem,it updates and functions properly,shows threat and even block them.
