Which anti-virus program is best?

by cjv / November 22, 2005 6:44 AM PST

I have a desktop Dell with McAfee Spamkiller, anti-virus, personal firewall. I'm not pleased with spamkiller. Not consistent in msgs it sends to spam folder. I have Norton anti-virus, kept updated, on my old laptop. Just bought a new laptop with wireless connection which came with Trend Micro PCillin. Bought a Linksys Router which has a CD with it that has Norton Anti Virus 2005. Which is better to keep on the new Laptop?

I have been running it for nearly 3 years and have been much happier than when I ran Norton. I highly recommend it, and you can tun the free version as long as you want to.

He has posted links to many threads, which have numerous opinions about McAfee, Norton and others.

I understand your frustration, but there is no ''best''. Best to one person, may be the worst to another. Everyone has different opinions. In the end, it will be the users choice.

Try reading through past threads. I believe it will be of help.

Good luck..
Carol
