New vs. old...but the old seems to be better in my view, especially if you use over-the-air tv signal. Maybe the show room can help you decide.

To make matters unclear

You have a maker that does not have the exact same panels for a model line. So while I will not get into the old "panel lottery" discussion (it's done) my one thing is picture quality. Get both in a showroom and take a look. If they are the same then go for ports, connections and if one has a TUNER, get that one. All the same? Price. Forget the Smart TV bits as history is showing us that folk get upset when the apps are no longer updated in a few years.

What do you mean show room?

I don't have the tv's in front of me I'm asking if someone actually has the tvs personally.

Be sure to ask that in your top post.

Your top post left that out. So no one could have guessed this.

Even so, you could look at each from the TUNER, ports and such features to see if one didn't make the cut.

How could anyone know that? LOL

You really should also visit another AV focused forum with more minutiae on the various models by their owners. This is arguably more of a 'say hi on the street quickly' type space. per se.

Try AVSforum here to look for dedicated threads by Vizio model/series/etc.:

Ok I ended up buying Sony XBR43X800D. A Way better tv. As a matter fact 20 times better tv than crappy philips 40pfl4706 tv I had for almost 5 years. Finally got rid of it threw in trash, well someone took it for free. It's not worth anything a garbage tv. I'm very satisfied with Sony XBR43X800D. From my experience best quality tv brands are Sony, Samsung, LG, Vizio, and Panasonic. Worst tv brands. avoid them at all costs, Philips, Sceptre, Hinese, Insignia, Coby, and Dynex. Let me know if I did not mention other worse tv brands.

One of the best French door fridges we've tested

A good-looking fridge with useful features like an auto-filling water pitcher and a temperature-adjustable "FlexZone" drawer. It was a near-flawless performer in our cooling tests.
