Question

Whic is the better deal?

Jun 14, 2013 12:55PM PDT

On Newegg they have a refurbished asus transformer pad tf300 32gb and keyboard dock for $319 with free shipping. On another website they have a brand new tf300 32gb tablet with keyboard dock for $370 with free shipping. I'm not sure if I should spend the extra $50 to get it new. Any suggestions?

At the office

We have the refurb tf300t. While it's very nice, it does not replace my laptop. For 300 even I talked the office into some Asus Vivo book 202 model. It's far more capable, has the touch screen and I could see carrying that over the tf300t and dock.

They have just the refurbished tablet for $254. Or a new one for $300. Would that be better way to go?

Depends on YOU.

If you are adverse to risk, you pay more. If you know you won't be using it as a laptop replacement and know the limitations and such, then you have your answer.
