Question

Wheres the best place 2 get 1440p video content espBlu-Rays?

Sep 14, 2015 4:47PM PDT

I have a ViewSonic VP2770 27" SuperClear IPS LED-Lit, WQHD 2560x1440, Professionally Pre-Calibrated Monitor, powered by a NVIDIA Geforce GTX 780 GPU, and my Blu-ray player is an external USB 3.0 ASUS capable of playing the latest Blu-Rays.
I can't find any 1440p blu-rays (or online videos but I prefer physical copies.) I have not been able to find almost anything, and youtubes selection is crap (and it isn't true hi def like it claims anyway.) And I do have a Netflix account so if it's hi-def movies are available and can be on my computer that's fine but I'm not every going to pay for a limited time usage of the file.

Clarification Request
1440p is not a standard.

I would be guessing what made you think there is 1440p native content. Can you share what lead you to believe such is out there?

Sorry I forgot to mention I didn't think it would be 1440p.

That is what would be BEST for my monitor so that's what I listed incase it did exist. 4k I guess is the closest thing then and I'll have to deal with the downscaling? But still looking for good places to search/get the hi-res goods.

Next thing I'll read is a question about RGB?

Good luck in your search but 4K on 32 or less inch display has been called out as silly or worse.

Whys that?

I have seen a drastic improvement on what I have been able to get ahold of. But it was not things I wanted...

So it's not what you wanted.

Sounds like you need to take a new direction.
