Where to POST new freeware ANNouncements?

Where to POST new freeware ANNouncements?
I tried to Post an ANN: for my PpSort+ freeware,
to the Applications/Utilities Forum,
but it got deleted in minutes.
Where can we let folks know about such freeware offerings?
Thanks!

See if you can place it on NoNags
May 21, 2005 5:26AM PDT

NoNags has tons of free software. Before they let it up on their board, they will ensure there is nothing bad in there, and that there is no nagging screens in it. Then they'll rate it (six duckies being the best).

Good luck, and give us a clue what and where it is. I am sure you believe it to be useful for the rest of us.

If it's truly freeware, I don't see the problem

with allowing such an announcement on our forums -- ONCE, and only on the most appropriate board.

I see the problem.

Unless they put it out on Download.com, Tucows, Majorgeeks it could be yet about virus, trojan or other. Since this is a Cnet forum, the first nod is to Download.com

Top posting a free program from an unrecognised site will likely result in a vanishing post.

It's a tough world and I know where my towel is.

Never would have thought of that problem until you posted it. Thanks. It's a jungle out there! And Whackos!

Whackos Out There

With Mac, no problem. Have you or Lee ever concidered there are others out here that are not Micrososoft brain-dead. In other words, There is life, afeter Bill Gates and Microsoft NT.
Give me a break please.
I really think that over 95% of the CNET FORUMS are related to PC issues. What ever happened to the 15%-18% Not on the PC and are on a Mac!

Just to post an issue once again, what is happening to our newly, poorly designed CNET FORUM formats and lousy point size among other issues?
Lee, I went to CNET from work using Microsoft and the images and format were even lousier than I have ever seen before. I thought that you were going to fix it. Obviously, NOT! What gives?
Waiting for the fixes as usual. I will not hold my breath!

Thanks, Lee. Please tell us about the latest and greatest with this re-design?
