Where is a good place to buy software cheaply? I believe there's a site called linda(sp).com? Does anyone know this site? Thanks very much.

If you are a student or teacher and can provide documentation (see the eligibility link on their website), try Academic Superstore (http://www.academicsuperstore.com/)
They don't have an unlimited selection but DO have some pretty good deals. Let me know what you think.

You can also keep your eyes open in magazines...not long ago there was a computer mag for Macs that had Poser 4 fully functinal for FREE, if you are into 3d programs then check out some of the sites for the programs, there was a learning edition of Maya available for free also.

Here are some places where they sell programs, not knowing what type you are interested in is hard in helping you find it.
