Forgot he was moving

Are you still in Connecticut, Evie? It must seem very empty since the entire population of your state has invaded my state this weekend.

Most of them drive SUVs the size of my house and they seem to think our state motto, Live Free or Die means No turn signal? No problem.

Juet kidding. We welcome all visitors and their money to the Granite State,

Thank you Evie. Move is going reasonably well. Truck book

ed for Wed AM. The living room is crimson, and a surprisingly nice color it is. We have a lot of antique furniture which looks really good against strong colors. We're laying a click lock floor in the bedroom tomorrow, I in my kneepads and brace and Nancy in something a little more attractive I hope. There was no decent flooring in there after we ripped out the carpet and bare floors are easier to clean and are better for my asthma. We also got lucky in that there was a sale on at Home Depot (half price).

r's fly (Quote from old Warner Brothers cartoon).

Sorry for the absence, but we move on Wednesday and I'm over my head with packing and painting. I will be back on line on Thurs or Fri. My back is much improved though stiff and mldly sore. Last bad day was Wed or Thurs last week. I now live in my back brace, such a charming fashion statement, don't you think? but I feel much better. Since as you all probably know, your back is connected to everything else, the new (mild) trouble is my right knee, but it's getting better too.

See you all next week.

and have managed to strengthen abs, and sides, and back and lose weight !!! It is all the price of sloth (to a degree), compounded by the fatigue due to sleep apnea (or perhaps vice versa). It is my fervent hope that my greater activity over the last couple of weeks will have results by the time a year has passed and my weight will be down significantly. I'll be taking up walking as soon as we are settled, followed by actual paid work which is always good and tends to keep one in motion.
