Question

Where is volume control in Youtube

by ginnymayer01 / May 11, 2015 8:15 AM PDT

Looking at Youtube videos, I am not getting any sound. I turn up the volume on using the lower right volume control on my computer but can't hear videos. Any suggestions?

There should be a volume button on the YouTube player. It does show in my FireFox web browser, which web browser you are using?

I have tried them all (IE, Mozilla, Chrome). What finally worked was the suggestion in IE that I go to tools/Internet options/advanced and enable "play sounds in web pages."

That's not it's stock setting so the next question would be "Why did that change?"
