Where is the NX Super Zoom Lens? (18-200 mm)

Jan 29, 2011 11:01PM PST

Hello,

Almost a year ago, I purchased a NX10 camera, and I am very satisfied with it. Although I often need more zoom than my regular lens provided (18-55), and since I don't like the idea about running around with two lenses (would be 18-55 and 50-200), I decided to wait until the release of the 18-200 mm lens, which were supposed to be released by the end of 2010. And it didn't. And I can't even seem to find no other information about the lens, other than the announcement in early 2010?

So my questions:

Where is the Super Zoom Lens for the NX Series? Is it ever going to be released?

Are there any alternatives? Can I somehow attach another lenses, eventually from other brands? If yes, do I need some kind of adapter to do this?

Thanks alot.
