I understand that there is a utility in Windows XP that tells you such things as what the usage of the CPU is during the running of the system, etc. Where is this program?

Matt, In addition to roddy's method you can also right click an empty area of your Taskbar and left click Task Manager.

Hi Matt. You can also get all kinds of information on what is happening on your system from Everest Home. This is a free download and it will give you more information on your system than you thought possible. regards Stewart
You can display the System Information window by choosing Start/All Programs/Acessories/System Tools/System Information. This window displays detailed information about all the devices and hardware drivers configured into your copy of Windows, and is a good place to check to see whether system components are correctly configured. It is more efficient than poking around the various dialog boxes that the Control Panel displays. Its Tools menu lists a number of other useful diagnostic programs you can run.
