Where is Cnet TV 2.0?!?

by techpriest / July 21, 2007 3:12 AM PDT

Recently through some digging around on CNET, i found out about the upcoming release CNET TV 2.0, which more like the cnet forums in terms of interface, but whatever the videos say, how do you get to it? any ideas? do you need an invite, because if it was open to any registered user (like the last CNET TV beta) everybody who signs in would have got it by now and that didnt work for me. Also, is it possible to CNET Tivo content outside of a tivo, because us Brits dont have modern network enabled tivos (you can upgrade a british series 1 to get its tv listings via the internet, but even then: no tivocast so no cnet videos)

Theres a new cnet tv?!!
by thepodcasticator / July 21, 2007 3:16 AM PDT

I honestly didnt know there was a new cnet tv, and sorry, i dont know of ANY way to get the special cnet tivo goodness without a tivo, i even tried spoofing the series 2's user agent back when i was in antarctica and the closes thing i could get was an error message saying that i was forbidden from this content by the server, still the error message would have been funnier if it had said "tivo not found".

As for TiVo...
by acedtect-20196213851867054973637995818137 / July 21, 2007 8:10 AM PDT

What's in TiVo is mostly what you see on CNET TV packaged into a 30-minute show. So your missing the presenters introducing the segments but the segments are the same.

Same goes for the CNET TV show on G4TechTV Canada.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
