The first link below is a list of start up programs by Pac's Portal that can be found in "msconfig" on a variety of operating systems. They are listed alphabetically and the list of programs will continue by clicking on the numbers at the top:

This second link is a list of "Services" that can be "disabled" in Windows 2000/XP when they aren't needed:
