Question

Where does this fan connector connect to?

by Rayner Toh / December 8, 2015 9:27 PM PST

Hi everyone.

Recently I just installed my new SSD, and I think in the process I accidentally disconnected one of the power cables of the fan controller, which connects my 1 fan at the back of the case and 2 fans at the top, thus those 3 fans aren't working now. I've opened my PC Case and checked my motherboard manual, but I still do not know where this connector connects to. (picture below).

Can anyone identify the area where I need to connect this connector to?

My PC Specs are:
i5-3570K
Gigabyte Z77X-UD3H
MSI R9 270X Hawk
Corsair Vengeance DDR3 8GB
Seagate Barracuda 1TB
Samsung 840 EVO 120GB
Kingston V300 240GB
Corasair RM650
Fractal Design R4
Cooler Master Hyper 212X
2 Corsair SP120s (at the top of the case)
1 Fractal Design fan (came with the case, at the back of the case)

Thanks for reading! Happyhttp://imageshack.com/a/img903/2256/tgBJpP.jpg

from your PSU. If it's from a fan, then it's for plugging to a power cord from the PSU.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
