Question

Where do you refill your prepaid account?

Jul 19, 2016 12:46PM PDT

I'm looking for suggestions to buy refills. I've heard some people buy them on ebay. Where do you get the best deal?

Answer
My last prepaid was Tracfone so

I got the deals by googling coupons then buying it on Tracfone.

Ebay has so many scammers on this that I will not buy such there.

Due to Sprint's failure in my area on coverage I went over to Ting.com and I'm happy with how the rate goes down when I don't use it much.

I buy a code at one of the local supermarkets when I'm there to do my shopping. As easy as buying bread or butter. Couldn't be easier.
They accept cash or a debit card with pin-code for payment.

What about online?

That's called VAT here and it's 21%, not dependent on where I buy it. It might be different in the USA,but you didn't mention that in your question.

Yes, in the US, we don't pay tax on most internet sales

So it's helpful to find somewhere that sells it online.

with the exception of amazon

with the exception of amazon, I pay sales tax on almost everything I purchase online. amazon just dont have a distribution center in my state - yet Happy

In addition, legally, you are to pay sales tax on every purchase you make. If the retailer don't charge, you are to report it yourself and pay it.

finally since you did not mention which prepaid service you are wanting to get refills for, it is difficult to tell you where to buy.

Here it's same tax on and off line.

The deal with ebay is the scammers. One bad sale and your minuscule savings are gone.

Like airtimeclub, pinzoo, or callingmart? AT&T wants to charge me sales tax.
