Please post a message about your poor customer service experience with this on-line data storage company. I don't know what the rules are here but if the CNET forum moderator says its OK, you should name names: what was the name of the company before; who owns it know; is it still operating under the same business name; what's their URL?
Also please leave the same or similar message on Consumerist.org (or email them -I'm not sure how that site works. It is the best way to get the word out on consumer issues like yours to a broader, more general audience.
I want to write a review to warn others on an internet storage service that has shown consistantly abysmal customer service. From auto deducting monthly fees and then stating my account was in arrears and frozen, to absolutely no customer support response for literally weeks.
I've tried everything but a hard copy letter to the principals who own the company. Since it was bought from a previously wonderful outfit that I truly enjoyed using and never had one problem with, I've pulled my hair out in frustration. I have a folder with dozens of unanswered or auto answered requests for both bookkeeping and techincal help. I've tried telephoning but there is no way to get to an actual person on the line and I don't know what to do next.
I've now had several months of payments deducted from my subscription service and cannot access the account to get to my files. This is a recurring problem with getting credit for the payments auto deducted and access to my accounts. I'd love to move them to a more consumer friendly service.
