Where do I find the synch button?

I am trying to get songs from my itunes on my pc to my ipod. but when I cant see the sync button and when i hook up my ipod it doesnt automaticly download the songs from my pc.

Connect your iPod to your PC

iTunes "may" open automatically.
If it doesn't then launch it yourself.
Once launched, you should see your iPod in the left hand column of iTunes.
If there is no Left hand column, technically the SideBar, then click on the View option on the menubar at the top of the window. Right next to File > Edit and pick Show SideBar.
Now click on your iPod in the SideBar.

The Sync or Apply button should be at the bottom right corner of the window.

Do you "see" the ipod in the iTunes side bar?

Do you have any playlists checked for download to the iPod?

With nothing selected, the Sync will run and transfer....nothing
