Where do I find the current USB Drivers for my devices?

Aug 25, 2015 6:17PM PDT

I am unsure where to look. One of my USB 3.0 Hubs uninstalled itself and device manager won't detect it and my others have outdated drivers. My Motherboard manufactured by: Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd. Model: Z87X-D3H-CF (SOCKET 0)
CPU: Intel CORE i5 4440, And I am running Windows 10 Home edition. The main thing is getting the usb 3.0 hub back and getting the rest up to date is second, but I don't know where to look.

And does this hub work on other PCs?

And what did you do about motherboard chipset drivers?

Maker's support
Aug 26, 2015 10:06AM PDT

Most maker's provide some ID of their product on some label/decal located on the device. Locate that decal and use the model# and then visit the support maker's support website. However, if this is an old device compared to the others and/or it NOT be Win10 ready, expect that. In most cases, its simplier just to replace the device with one that Win10 ready and so states on the box or package, that way you're covered. Alas, this is common complaint of any new OS or release, every time. Beware, unknown or odd brands may not be so quick of proving anything called' "support".

Unplug all from the hub
Aug 26, 2015 3:28PM PDT

unplug the hub too. Plug just the hub back in. Did it recognize and reinstall it? If not, then go here.

http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4518#dl

Download all the driver files for that motherboard and install them.

Try the hub again? If working, plug items back in one at a time and check to see if works. If at some time the hub disappears again, then too much power being drawn from computer.

This is a powered hub?

Have you tried the hub on other devices?

The problem might be with the hub. Have you should try it on other computers to rule that out?
