Where did the sitebuilder go?

Jun 17, 2005 7:20AM PDT

About 5 years ago I created a web site using ZDnet. Since then with the never ending changes, buyouts, trades I am unable to access the sitebuilder function of my site. Apparently ZDnet is no longer in the hosting business. I need help finding a site to reclaim my original website.

Try to find sitebuilder here
Jun 28, 2005 1:37PM PDT

This is VERY hard to find/access. I presume CNET is de-emphasizing their hosting services on purpose. Anyway, here is what works for me ... log-in to CNET Advantage at http://cma.zdnet.com/texis/shopper/cnet/. You enter your eMail address and password there. That'll take you to a page where you can click on sitebuilder and then, on the next page, either view or edit your site. Respond saying if that works for you.

Can't find sitebuilder

Your suggestion didn't work for me because I am not a member of "CNet advantage". I used sitebuilder to create my website, but now I can't update it. Any other ideas ?

Sitebuilder GONE
Jul 7, 2005 6:35AM PDT

I expierenced the same sudden inability to access sitebuilder and my password suddenly did not work. I emailed cnet, and was told to confirm my subsription, which I already had done. I have since emailed over 10 times with no response from support.

Cleary, cnet is not in the hosting business anymore, it's not featured at all.

But these actions are an outrage. I have filed a formal complaint with my state's better business bureau. I encourage you to do the same.

Sitebuilder ZDNet

Same here. I'm in the throws of trying to get an answer from CNET. I've created an account with CNET but still no access.
