Where'd it go???

by Miss_!v / March 26, 2006 12:35 PM PST

I recently upgraded my 10GBl windows 98, Hewlett Packard 6623 to Windows XP. My problem is that my 10GB hard drive has now turned into a 1.9GB hard drive. Is this normal? Where did my other 8GB's go and is there any way of getting them back??

what do you mean by turned to 1.9gb??

is this before or after installing windows xp...

If that happened before installing and formatting.. then you might still have your old files...

If it is after formatting and installing windows XP, then it might be normal .. depends on what you install...

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
