Where can i get a replacement disc to install mp3 to pc

I bought am mp3 about two years ago and used to download tunes through windows media player to my mp3. But my pc had to be scrubbed as i had a virus and now i cant get it to recognise my mp3 and ive lost the original installer disc, is there some other way to do this?

Check your player's setup menus

For a setting to change PC connection type. Usually a choice of MSC (removable drive) or MTP (media device). MSC or similarly named option lets the computer treat your player as an external removable drive without any special software being needed on the PC.

Look on the makers website or ask the shop where you bought it.

It makes some sense to store installer disks and a copy of all installed programs on some safe place. Lesson learned?
