Question

Where can I find this?

Jun 10, 2012 8:13AM PDT

hello. I am looking for something that may not exist yet, but it should. I want to find a stereo for my home that accepts my ipod touch with pandora radio as a tuner, but doesn't require me to hook it up thru my home theatre to amplify? I was hoping to find something that could be plugged into any outlet indoors or out, within my wi-fi range, and hopefully contain wireless speakers or self contained speakers that would fill a large room with music. What I have found so far either needs a stereo to play thru or contains 4 watt outputs which I don't see having much sound quality? Thanks in advance

Quality will generally be less than ideal

The primary market is a docking solution since that gives you access to the highest quality sound. Boombox speakers are portable, but that's about it. Bose might tell you otherwise and provide a "product", but I disagree with them(!)

That said, it wouldn't hurt for you to peruse the forums @ ilounge.com, and also AVS forum. Both places will have iPod touch owners with perhaps similar needs as yours. YMMV...
