Question

Where are my Windows 7 bookmarks in Windows 10?

Mar 12, 2016 6:52PM PST

Need some help.

I upgraded from Windows 7 to 10 on my laptop. I was using Dell Windows 7 Home Premium (Service Pack 1) operating system, IE 11.

In addition to a screen that jumps up and down (scroll) I can't find my bookmarks.

I also need to locate a manual copy of instructions for what the applications are supposed to be used for. They are not intuitive. Can't spend time trying to find instruction on the MS site and flip back and forth to trying to figure out what Windows 10 is doing.

The stock upgrade is to Edge and it didn't have my bookmarks.

Look in IE 11

As R. Proffitt said, Edge is the default browser when you upgrade so find IE 11 and your bookmarks should be there. You can go into settings and make IE 11 your default browser.

In IE it is favorites, indicated by star in upper right corner of page, click on star, should show list of saved favorites.
