Question

When turning on Computer, Nothing is displayed

Aug 28, 2015 8:11PM PDT

Hello everyone!

I am in desperate need of some help/advice. So I recently started a build with a custom water cooling loop. So before the build I tested the computer components to make sure nothing was DOA. Everything booted just fine and it brought me to the bios screen (The monitor was plugged into the GPU output and I was using the same PSU as I am in the build). I then build the computer and I went through a 16 hour leak test and everything was fine and then I plugged the computer in and fired it up. The fans, pump, and leds came on but the monitors still black and the front io was not illuminated(as it should) and the only thing that worked was the power button and USB 3.0 ports(The front IO lights were off and the reset button was not working either).

I then started trying onboard display and taking the GPU out and trying with it in and realized it wasn't the GPU after replacing it with my old one , that I know works, and having it still not work. I tried using only 1 ram stick in every slot, I reseated the CPU and checked for damaged pins(which there was none), I tried changing the PCI slot that the GPU was in, I've tried different monitors, I tried taking the motherboard out and running it on the anti static bag, and I tried a different powersupply(even after I check my PSU that was in the build with a multimeter and it was up to par with the voltages).

So I am in desperate need of help, the only thing I can think of right now is that the motherboard may have some ESD damage,

Here is a list of the PC components:
CPU - Intel I7 4790k
Mobo - MSI Krait Edition z97 LGA 1150
GPU - EVGA GTX 970 SSC ACX 2.0
PSU - Corsair RM1000

I appreciate any help advice! Thanks in advance!
