When i maximize a window i can't see the task bar any more?

May 28, 2005 10:03PM PDT

Hi, I'm running windows xp I and 512 ram and a fast enought processer. This only started a couple of days ago but now whenever i maximise a screen it covers the task bar and i can't work out why. very anoying when i want to use another programme as it means i have to minimize the screen im using or all of them to find the one i want to use again. its not just windows screens that are doing this as well, its all programmes that can fill the screen do when i maximise them. My task bar is at the bottom of the screen, i've tried moving it to the side and back, lockig it and unlocking it to see if that fixes the problem but nothing sems to help. maybe someone here can.
thanks
