when i download games off the internet they don't work...why

i download trial games from various sites and they used to work but here lately they open and just stay on the first screen shot...what is wrong? if you know write back...

What video card do you have?

Might be able to find it in your video settings...
then go to there site ( under drivers... or support)
Download and run install....

if you had created your own thread, instead of replying to a post made nearly 4 years ago in 2007.

What do you mean, what type of PC yours is? Is it a laptop or a desktop? Only you can tell us that.

Which Operating System are you using? Only you can tell us that.

If you are using a Windows PC, then the "Device Manager" will tell you what graphics card you are using.

If you are using a Windows PC, then find the "Computer" icon, either on the desktop or in the Start Menu, (it might be called "My Computer"), right click it, and select Properties for more details of your system.
