My thought.

I'd try a new hard drive. This may confuse some but if the drive is taking longer to get going, this could happen. Seems like a cheap fix.

Hi,

use a hard drive recovery software to retrieve my damaged hard drive.

Data Disc Recovery is a free hard drive recovery software made available by DAGsoft, it can efficiently scan and recover data from crashed hard disk data in FAT and NTFS.

Thanks
