wheel2ee.dll

When using spy doctor, ad aware 2008 and windows defender too scan PC it locks, then crashes (about 97% complete on a quick scan).

Spy doctor is displaying the above as being scanned at the time in the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE.

Spybot completes and no problems are found.

Any suggestions as how I might resolve this issue?

Thanks

Do you have Microsoft Encarta software?

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/240296
http://www.spywaredata.com/spyware/malware/wheel2ee.dll.php

Both links has info that the said dll is in use or installed by Microsoft Encarta. If you have this program, please right-click the dll file>properties to confirm that it is own by Microsoft. If yes, Spyware Doctor is flagging it as false positive.

If it's not showing as Microsoft's dll file and you do not have Encarta, I suggest to submit the dll for online file scan and see what is the result by more than 30 malware scanners:

Thanks
Removed Encarta (not used) and all wheel2ee entries I could find and this appear to have curred the issue.

(NT) You're welcome. That's false positive by the scanner though.
