Whatsapp on iphone

May 10, 2019 3:13AM PDT

When I reinstalled the whatsapp on my phone it did not prompt for reinstalling the back up of 6 GB that was previously backed up. what can I do to get my data back from iclouds?
Now there is another problem that its backed up the new messages that has come to the whatsapp.
Have I lost the previous back up of whatsapp on icloud?
Please advise

Thank you. So actually once the whatsapp creates a new backup, the previous back up is lost. Correct?
I can see that there is 120 GB back up in my icloud, but dont know how to find the files there.

kind regards

Sorry, I don't know if the previous backup is lost or not. And I don't know how to find the files. Let's hope somebody with real experience with an iPhone and with its backup comes along.

Just a general remark: a backup is useless if you don't know how to restore it if needed, and kind of useless if you can't see and restore individual files.
