I have children of 20, 16 and 11. We live out in the country and there are break-ins unfortunately. With this type system I could better monitor our home from my classroom.

Have you thought about setting up a DIY alarm system and mounting fake cameras around the house as a deterrent? The fake cameras and DIY alarm systems are reasonably price and some of the DIY alarms can help those vulnerable entry points. Maybe even considering a dog?

I'm sorry that you are in a situation like this. Crime sucks Sad

My boys are allergic to animals but I'll consider the other ideas. I'd like to afford a good one, but that'll have to wait I guess. Thank you.

Monitoring!
by Shanewatson22 / February 19, 2017 9:51 PM PST

My main target is to monitor all the time. I would like to see who is coming at my home or going. Because the whole day I remain at the office. And I have 2 children who are alone. They only have one man to look out them. So, security camera is needed.

I'm planning to get a security system installed at my place. Things are not how they used to be.

Criminals are abundant and they are getting more daring. For 30 years I have never had packages or mail stolen. Within 5 years I have had 2 packages stolen off my porch, my car broken into twice, and my neighbors getting their mail stolen. SMH It's too bad.

Homes without security systems are almost 3 x as likely to be invaded. This shows that the very existence of a security system is often sufficient to scare off intruders, but nobody wants a security system that doesn’t work.

We would say the three most important components to start out with are the three we’ve listed below, although a full security system can include many more things. These are just the basics…

Smart Hub or Home Controller
Indoor / Outdoor Home Security Camera
Heavy Duty Deadbolt

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
