What's wrong?

by jvsimo / May 18, 2016 9:02 PM PDT

OK, I am running Windows 8 but, use Windows Live Mail from my old windows 7 computer. I can receive E-mails with photos in the main page of the e-mail without any problem. When I go to forward the e-mail I get this message.

One or more of the pictures in this message could not be found, etc, etc, etc.

It does send with the photos as attachments but, not the wording attached to each picture.
What can I do to forward the entire e-mail exactly as I received it?
The problem only happens about 50% of the time, do I need to change my settings or something?
Thanks in advance.

Pictures embedded in a mail are kind of a problem, because there's no standard on how that should be done.
So it's quite well possible that a mail client (say WLM) doesn't correctly handle the forwarding of a mail composed by another mail client (say Thunderbird, MS Outlook, Incredimail or any webmail program).

Only if you're sure that you use the same version of the same mail program as the sender, and you can reproduce it gives this error when forwarding, it makes sense to file a bug with the maker of that particular program.
