It would not boot up when I had my iPhone or other smart phone plugged in. After 3 months and more research it was a bios bug. At the time I didn't know that HP no longer had engineers to correct bad bugs like that and so 8+ hours on a call they tried many things but all for naught.

It went to HP for repair only to come back in far worse shape.

Over the next 6 months HP sent me satisfaction surveys and I called to ask what next about my laptop that ran with an issue that now would lock up in a few minutes. Answers came back such as "You should have bought an Envy" to "we've done all we can."

That was my last HP. The company lost me forever. A few years later a HP Social Rep noticed my posts about it but I've moved on but will and can not ever suggest HP products. I sent my details to the SocRep and they could not help either. Good think my company swapped it out for an office laptop at the time.
