I'm going with what I have at home.

I work on Android apps and outside of the app work I rarely pick up my Android tablets to use them.

The Amazon Fire Tablet is used a lot for reading but outside that and the apps work, tablets are a bust.

PS. Maybe another not useful item would be a smart watch. I had such over a decade ago and they have the same fault I saw back then. Only a day or days per charge.

Nokia N-Gage

I bet that that gadget can bring back some "wonderful memories"
The N-Gage cost £75 more than Nintendo's Game Boy, had few titles available to play on it, and looked awful both as a console and as a smartphone. Awful, and useless.
Nokia's mistake was to add phone capability to a games console, rather than gamifying a smartphone. The result was useless: pretend to make a phone call on your Wii and you will get the idea.
