Re: social media

If you make a facebook clone (circumventing the patents they might have) you don't yet stand out, but are only equal. So you have to be better than facebook.

I think this is a billion dollar question.

Billion dollar question!!

Totally agree with @kees_B , So what are the unique things the existing social media platforms are not fulfilling?

You might try asking that question

of people who rarely or do not participate in any of today's social media offerings. That may be difficult to do as you need to be creative enough to find such people who don't have a footprint there. After all, businesses that have saturated the landscape already will still need to find new customers if they expect to grow as luring business from other well established businesses becomes too expensive at some point. You may need to search the dark streets and alleyways but those who have abandoned or never used social media are out there. Just don't use the product to find them. I said this wouldn't be easy. Put on your thinking cap and get busy.

Couldn't ask for a better answer..

Nowadays the source to reach people has became social media only and the challenge to provide the reach beyond the existing one's is truly the most difficult one.
Anymore suggestions anyone would like to add to this ?

Re: question

A professional market research company probably can start a project for you to find out. It won't be free, alas.

But there is always a risk involved in investing without knowing if its really worth because to reach the people who don't have already had an exposure to social media if was easily possible by hiring a professional market research company then big platforms that already are in the market would have hired before hand reached them too.

They already do have professionals for the sole purpose already.

But what if you can't afford to do so?
