connected to the fact that there has been no concrete statements about exactly what iTV will do, what it will look like and what it will cost?
Just about everything you have read is just speculation based on a snippet of information put out by The Steve at the last media call.
Safest thing to do? Sit back and wait for the device to be launched, check out its specs and then decide whether to be disappointed or not

I don't really get why people are so excited about iTv. I'm a mac lover so I want anything that has a apple logo but I just can't get excited about iTv.
I read an article somewhere about using eyeTV and iTv together, which is a great idea but thats a lot of money. Also you don't get that much control over the eyeTv with a remote. So you would need to be on the computer and that kind of defeat the whole purpose of iTv.
I think it would be great to have access to my itune files on tv but I just don't know if it's worth 300 bucks. I have a lot of tv shows and video podcast but I don't mind watching it on my computer, and I'm sure itune will get more movies but until than I'm not too excited about itune movies.
Also it bothers me that itv (probably) won't do everything DVR (comcast) and tivo does. So it's not like I can buy itv and I would be set with everything.
Sorry for complaining, I just want to love everything that is apple and I'm just having a hard time with itv.
