Question

Whats the best browser 4 people who're bookmark heavy users?

by rammstein42020 / June 22, 2015 1:14 PM PDT

I am looking to upgrade from IE 11 for a change (I do not like firefox) I am interested in a very customizable browsing experience but I need to have IE's bookmarks toolbar function of being able to create folders within folders and add shortcuts into those folders (I also love how IE lets you change the Icon on the folder and bookmarks manually if you so choose.) User friendliness is not a must but it should be compatible with windows 7 home premium SP1.

I was going to recommend Firefox, but try Chrome & Safari
by wpgwpg / June 22, 2015 1:23 PM PDT

Firefox is my preference, but I see you don't like it, so I'll recommend Chrome and Safari if you haven't tried them. If you go to Windows 10, they have a new browser called Edge (aka Spartan) you could try. It's rumored that MS will eventually make Edge available for earlier versions of Windows, but probably not before 10 ships on 7/29.

My problem with Edge
by wpgwpg / June 22, 2015 2:48 PM PDT

To me, I've ruled Edge out because it doesn't allow for installing add-ons, and so you get inundated with ads. That's a show stopper for me. Besides I think Firefox is best for me. I haven't seen any video problems with Edge, but that could very well be because I avoid it for the most part.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
