Hope things are well with you and the family.
Agreed a lighter is a great bottle opener.
Cheers!

If not, and you try to pay for something with cash, your total coinage need will end in 1 or a 6.
You moonlighting as a security guard? Or, do you need a phone upgrade? I'm sure we can find you one here! http://www.cnet.com/topics/phones/
not something my cellphone's wimpy flashlight can produce.
Check it out--I have the Olight S10R. I'll let you borrow it one day, maybe ![]()
Also credit-card shaped lights that do a good job of scaring off demons, ghouls and other creatures of the night. I usually carry a cc-flash.
I have a slight addiction to flashlights. The one you mentioned (Olight S10R) is quite tempting! ![]()
Keys (including the awesome Midnite Minichamp Swiss Army Knife)
Wallet
Commuter card
That SwissCard looks super handy. It's not as thick as a traditional SAK so it can easily slip into a pocket. If only it had a bottle opener. Thanks for the idea! I'm going to check it out.
I carry one of these in my backpack:

But I think the one you have is much better!
Like Nate650, I'm going to look into one as well.
Thanks,

Your Tool Logic one has a can/bottle opener! Sometimes I consider being able to crack open a cold one after a long day to be an emergency. ![]()
Seems the folks over at Victorinox can easily make a bottle opener version of the SwissCard. I'd rather have that over the letter opener.
There's also the SwissCard Lite, which, oddly, is more expensive and has more functions than the regular SwissCard:

I wonder if the handle of the scissors in the SwissCard can be used as one.
How about opening a bottle with keys or a lighter, I do when there is no opener around ![]()
In my pockets I usually carry: several plastic carrier bags, key-chain with micro-toolkit, torch, pen, bottle-opener, other stuff. Credit-card shaped micro toolkit. Flip-card style leather wallet with lots of cards, credit, loyalty, store, NHS prepayment and others. Large biro, sharpie-type pens, cigarette lighters for the wife's birthday candle as I can never find one in the church, transparent plastic wallet with my annual bus ticket and any train tickets I have,. Coin thingy for releasing supermarket trolleys, UK-pound shaped thing with a smiley face on it that was a birthday present from my lady. A couple of pen-knives and multi-tool knife-like things that were birthday presents. 64GB pen drive with a "toolkit" on it - things like PortableApps and *nixxy ISO's for file-system repair. Anti-bacterial wet-wipes. Nitroglycerine spray. Usually a tray of Piriton and generic Ibuprofen. Any loose change, including notes, that I may have accumulated and not yet given to my favourite charity. If I'm out at night I sometimes add a folded reflective, high-visibility vest.
Sometimes I'll add a phone, camera, light headphones, mp3 device or e-reader, possibly with a multi-charger.
I generally remove the thing when I'm being weighed. It has more mass than I do.
Now these all go into your pockets or do you carry additional pouch of some sort?
Thanks for sharing!
I think that what my Dad wears--it's like a Safari lightweight vest with multiple front pockets.
Something like this?

Mine has way more pocketses and some very large ones, too. Large enough for tablets, e-readers and even hardback books.
Mine weighs more than his, too!
My wife found it for me.
Usually I have:
a wallet,
a comb,
car keys as my usual items. Oh and I usually have a piece of paper. For some unknown reason.I always seem to end up with some paper in my pocket and what's worse? I usually don't check what it is for a couple days. I just like the feel of having the feel of something in my pockets.
I always carry my smartphone in my shirt pocket, my wallet in my right back pocket, my keys in my right pocket, and change in my left pocket.
I am a complete creature of habit. This never varies. Sometimes there are additional items, however. I tend to stuff cash register receipts in my change pocket until I get home. Sometimes I carry a little permanent magnet in my change pocket, particularly when I am shopping for cookware (I have an induction stovetop and need to test pots and pans to make certain that they're magnetic). And, when setting out on social occasions, I occasionally put a Listerine Power-Pack in my change pocket in case I nosh on something that might leave me with less than ideal breath.
And that's the whole list.
Coins, wallet, keys, handkerchief, shopping list, reading glasses, comb.
