Whats happening with my mp3 downloads??

Jul 23, 2009 11:00AM PDT

I recently signed up for Guggenheim and Libravox. My intent was to download some non-protected audio books legally available on those sites. I'd like to play them on my portable MP3 player.

When they are downloaded..they start playing immediately. When I right-click to save them to my computer...so that I can then move them to my MP3 player..I get a solicitation to buy Quicktime?? something.

I presume that Quicktime has taken over my downloads so I cannot use these legal items. What can I do to simply download a regular mp3 into my computer and then move it as I please. thanks Rich
p.s. Vista Windows 32 bit...
