what is a good mp3 player that is not an ipod? i want something reliable but i dont want an ipod because everyone has one

It depends on what you want. Like flash or hard drive, movies or no movies, using it for jogging or not... it all depends on those things.

To choose a player, you may need to consider the type of functions you will need from the player. What capacity of player are you looking at. Look at creative players since you are not interested in ipod. creative players have better features and interface which are user friendly. They have just launched a new player, zen stone plus. A small, light and cheap 2gb flash player. pretty good features included
