whatismyaspectratio.com - aspect ratio tool

Oct 8, 2015 3:34PM PDT

Hi,

I created ]What Is My Aspect Ratio? It tells you the aspect ratio of your display. Should work with any TV, projector, computer or phone display (provided there is a browser to access the site with).

It’s targeted at people who don’t know much about aspect ratios and don’t know their own aspect ratio (or resolution). Could be useful if you want to know this yourself or want to know this of a non-tech savvy friend or family member.

Hope you find it useful.

Feedback welcome.

Hi,

Yup I created it and I'm trying to promote it. Primarily it's supposed to provide a quick and simple answer to non-tech savvy people who want to for whatever reason to know their own aspect ratio.

Techies either know it or can look up the specs on their display and find it if they want.

Yeah I created this account and set the username yesterday.

It appears promotion is going poorly.

I looked around and some of your posts were outright removed and here it was edited.

You can read what these forums are for but it's not for site promotion. Feel free to ask a question and if it's shilling like "How do I use a web site to measure aspect ratio?" then a moderate will spot that in a few minutes.

Why not continue on and explain at your site why you need this.

Self promotion is against forum policies.
