Question

What would you like to have in a computer reseller site?

Apr 11, 2016 7:53AM PDT

I'm the Marketing Director for a computer reseller and think its about time we asked userrs what they would like to find in a computer resellers site. Would free downloads of video game trials, various drivers for different models and brands of laptops and desktops, a blog, ....???? What else would interest you?

Answer
Where I bought my last dozen laptops.

Was Amazon.com. Long ago I would pick them up at Best Buy but BB's sales tactics meant I could no longer get a factory sealed box and buy it. With Amazon Prime I get all the products I want with a liberal return policy (no questions asked!)

Can you match Amazon's breadth and policies?

That wasn't the question.

I asked WHAT not WHERE? I'm interested in knowing what type of things people are interested in, or wanting to find on reseller sites. What type of CONTENT. We sell on Amazon as well, but there is a lot of content that is possibly important to users that can't be found on Amazon. But thanks for your comment regardless.

Then let's go for what I find attractive in Amazon's site.

1. Amazon Prime has a liberal return policy.
2. I receive a factory sealed box.
3. The price is on par or better than stores.
4. What I don't miss are sites that want to bundle cables or games.
