you forgot the wii! ![]()
it may not have the gfx of 360 or ps3, but it has a funfactor in it which(for some games not all) may make individual games better than 360 and ps3 games. Dont get me wrong, ive played some pretty crappy wii games(ugh. Super monkeball banana blitz had the worst controls and ultimate alliance tried to use the motion sensor when it probably shouldve had a gc controller option. im just saying, you left out a strong contendor in your statement.
I have to say though, PS3 looks like it has more potential than 360, and a likely reason that it isnt selling quite as well is the head start that 360 got and that 360 offers great gfx(not as good as ps3 though) that satisfy the costumers. So, despite sales, i think that wii could be the best, depending on its games and how they utilize the wiimote, or ps3 if they survive in sales and add higher end games that can use different controllers(like guitar hero) or maybe the 360, if it meets up to the ps3 in different hardrives making it just as powerful and keeps up with its games so it keeps the lead.
Its hard to draw a line at what is the best system and please, dont go by the sales production as that only means how well theyre selling. Dont forget the personal bias nearly everyone applies to the consoles they buy(ie nintendo fanboys, sony fanboys, microsoft fanboys). Just because something may be more popular doesnt mean its the best system to you. it seems you have a nice tv, so for a few reasons you should go with ps3 or 360 bcause they can compliment your screen(plus, you dont want to ruin it playing wii sports and smacking the tv, smashing it into a million pieces lol)
I think the PSP could be the best if it had next gen graphics, more capacity on the umd's and mroe storage and also a video output for those of us with hd tv's or tv's bigger then 4 inches like my Samsung 42 inch plasma, but that would be like the best ever although as it stands PS3 is probly the best system but xbox 360 has more games.
