Question

What would be a good cooler for my pc?

May 6, 2014 10:45AM PDT

I have: Intel Core i7-4770K Quad-Core, and my motherboard is: ASUS MAXIMUS VI HERO DDR3 2800 LGA 1150.
I will overclock and wonder if it will occupy the space for the ram.

Some of those after market coolers are quite large.

If you use ram with those large vertical fins/bling....you might have a problem.

Folks on these boards tend to frown on OCing.

Why do you want to do this?

Answer
As always 'it depends'. And in this case it depends

on the size of the fan used with the cooler and the height of the RAM modules. You should have researched and plannned this before getting this far.
