Question

What & who is CGPS?

Apr 15, 2012 2:57PM PDT

First I am hoping this is in the right forum as to speed up the answering process so here goes:

This morning while doing my monthly "msconfig" I noticed something in the list I don't recall seeing: I ran several search engines and they all came up with a whole bunch of resources. I just need a simple answer.

In the list I found under "services" the following "CGPS White Sky, Inc." I left the box checked until I know what this is for exactly.

Is this a piece of background software that deals with GPS or does it deal with something else? Then the question comes up should I leave it checked or unchecked? Who is White Sky behind this CGPS?

Download Codestuff Starter. A little utility that identifies everything starting up and shows where it is located and what program it is linked to. It's like msconfig on steroids in plain English. And you can control these items from simply stopping them to removing them.
