what vista drivers do i need for my wireless router?

The computer is a HP desktop. Windows vista OS. I have a router that works with my android, my wii, and my house phone is run thru it. My computer has always recognized other devices. I think I may need to install, repair, or replace the needed driver(s). Please help!. The internet I am trying to run is ethernet wifi. Dnt know all the proper terms so hopefully I am getting my idea across

You do not need any drivers ...

for a router, just connect the PC to it and make sure that the PC's network interface card is set to acquire an address from the router. The router should have come with instructions but if not you can usually locate instructions for the various router settings by searching for the router make and model at the manufacturer's web site then looking under support for its manual.
