What video editing software under $100 do you use??

Aug 18, 2005 12:21AM PDT

I would like to know what video editing software you use? I want to buy one for my new computer, but am not sure even after reading reviews. So far the Ulead version 9 or the Power Director 4 looks good. Any feedback would be great!

None.

Unless you count the freebies such as WinDV and Virtual Dub.

The ULEAD items are OK and demos for you to try are at ULEAD.COM but as what I want to do goes up, Sony VEGAS is working nicely.

How about "included" with the DVD recorder?

I can buy a DVD recorder drive and the included software would allow basic editing and recording for... 50 bucks including the drive.

Is this an option?
