What Video Editing Software I Need To Brighten This Video ?

Hey CNet Forum Members,

I got this friend and he has this video clip and he wants to brighten up this video clip which came a bit too dark.

What video editing software I need to use ?

Virtual Dub for instance..

Can do this but I don't offer any tutorials in the forums on its use.

Thats okay if there isn't any tutorials,

But what software you suggest to use that has this function that i'll be able to brighten the video ?

For me that would be Virtual Dub.

Brighter video clip? Can any software do this? Maybe you can do a cnet search to find.

Capture settings?

When I captured using the moviebox, there were sliders for adjusting brightness, contrast and color balance. I didn't recall my tapes being so dark, but it did a good job of brightening them.
