The trailing periods seem to be why.
The SSD is from a Microsoft Surface Pro, it's an sk hynix 256gb. This is what it looks like.

I bought an msata 1.8" adapter and it won't fit, the one I purchased specifically is:

Please tell me one that will fit correctly, right now I am looking at this:
https://www.amazon.com/QNINE-Adapter-Converter-Portable...
Will that work? Any cheaper ones you can recommend? Thanks!
Keep in mind I already purchased an msata adapter that I linked above, and it didn't work, why not? I know it must be the wrong spec or size, but what spec or size DO I need?
I think it didn't work because it has the wrong number of pins? The SSD I have has 8+18 pins, and the adapter I bought at first only has 7+9. The new qnine adapter I'm looking at has 8+18, so I'm assuming it will work?
