What type of Audio are you using with Televisons

by lvpatrick / April 2, 2011 5:53 AM PDT

Just wondering what type of audio you use with your television?

1. Televisions OEM speakers
2. Sound Bar
3. 2.1 Sound System
4. 5.1 or greater Sound System
5. Other (please explain)

Daytime or reruns at night tv speakers.
When using my Blu ray player, 90% of the time I use my surround sound system & for favorite TV shows

Sound System is a JBL speakers built from the ground up... about $2k just in speakers (5.1, no room for 7.1) & a yamaha RX-V1500 receiver, that is for my 54G10 room. Master bed room, TV speakers only, Panny 42S2. Then my front room I have 2.1 JBL's with a yamaha RX-V520 receiver... never use it, the tv speakers (Sony SXRD a2000) are fine for the news.

my tv speaker is good enough for me. The other 20% I will use 5.1 surround if I am watching a action movie. Loud sound drive me crazy when there is no reasons for it, hehe.

Even on broadcast TV it makes everything sound tack sharp and clear. Pro Logic IIx does a good job of spreading out that two channel audio as well.
