What to do, what to do!

Now first of all this is not a regular pc. This is a gaming pc that my step dad built for me about 2 years ago. It's a sweet system, so I am not going to get a new pc as of yet.

Thing is, I somehow popped the on/off button compeltely off my pc while it was off, and now I cannot turn the bloody thing on for the life of me.

Here is my perdicament:
1) How to fix
2) Where to get a new button (Radio Shack?)

If anyone knows how I can fix this great. I'm not computer componet flummoxed, but I do not want to wipe out the motherboard or hard drive when putting in a new button without suggestions.

P.S. The button was just a little silver pop button. When looking at the PC I can see a silver "hanger" and all that jazz, if that helps!!

I had this happen to me just recently. It had to be resoldered and reconnected to the board.

that will make it easier for you to figure out what to do. the power button just presses a tiny button on the chassis.

if you've lost the button, you might be able to juryrig something. if you have a computer repair shop nearby, they might let you poke around into their junk pile for a replacement. otherwise, you could buy a new case and transplant the pc innards.
